MYERS, CONSUELO (CONNIE) NOVAS Consuelo (Connie) Novas Myers, 87, of Ocala, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018. Consuelo was born in Spain to Jose and Josefa Novas, and moved to the Ocala area in 1956 from New York. Connie was an extremely talented floral designer with exquisite taste and a special flair for color. She worked at Belleview Florist for over twenty years. Connie never met a stranger & everyone that knew her loved her immensely. She had a heart of gold and was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt & friend to many. She spent her free time with family and friends and was always the life of the party. Consuelo is survived by her sons, Joseph Saez (Shirley) of Morriston and Keith Myers (Tina) of Belleview; sisters, Vickie McCue of Ocala and Carmen Fortugno of New York; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Jose and Josefa Novas; and her brother, Joseph Novas. Funeral services will be Friday, September 14, 2018 at 11:00am with visitation beginning at 10am, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, FL 34470 (352)-629-7171.
