Concetta 'Connie' Uzzolino Beloved mother and grandmother Concetta "Connie" Uzzolino, 87, of Roseland, N.J., formerly of Newark, N.J., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019. Visiting will be on Thursday, Aug. 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave., Caldwell, N.J. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Aug. 16 at 11 a.m. in St. Aloysius R.C. Church, 219 Bloomfield Ave., Caldwell followed by the interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, N.J. To extend a condolence or share a memory, please visit www.codeyjonesfh.com . Born in Newark, N.J., to Rudolph and Rose (Gangemi) DeBartolo, Connie lived most of her life in Newark. After her husband, Martin, passed in 1991, Connie lived with her daughter's family in Roseland. Connie was a homemaker who also worked as an assistant clerk for the County of Essex. Surviving are her devoted children and their spouses, Roseann and Robert Carroll, Peter and Ana Maria Uzzolino; loving and devoted granddaughter, Kimberly Carroll; cherished grandsons, Peter Martin (Mary) and Anthony Martin Uzzolino, and two adored great-grandchildren, Noah and Alexa; loving niece and goddaughter, Andrea McDonough. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin; brother, Anthony DeBartolo and a sister, Angelina (Joseph) McDonough.
