Colleen Marie Chesney TRENTON - Colleen Marie Chesney passed away on Jan. 15, 2013, at the age of 45, losing her battle with cancer. Born on April 17, 1967, Colleen originated from Trenton, NJ, and resided mainly in upstate New York. Colleen is lovingly remembered by her mother, Kathleen Chesney; grandmother, Joyce McCormack; her children, Meghan Chesney and her partner, Autumn Rumsey, and Melissa Chesney; her siblings, Laura Abbasi and her husband, Mohammad, and Charles Chesney and his wife, Joy; her grandson, Isaac Rumsey-Mattern, as well as aunts, uncles, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Colleen enjoyed time with friends and family, telling jokes, laughing, music, dancing, and travel. She acted as a caring and candid mentor to all she encountered. Colleen's sense of humor was unmatched and her strong-willed spirit can be seen today through both of her resilient daughters. Colleen's pride and beauty were easily seen by anyone who was blessed to have her in their life. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at 12 noon at the Mullen Funeral Home, 537 S. Olden Ave., Trenton. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at the same location. Any flowers and condolences can be sent to the funeral home. The family would like to sincerely thank all who donated to Colleen's memorial fund, and the ongoing thoughts and prayers.
