RAWLINGS, Md. - Clara M. Iser, 92, of McMullen Highway, Rawlings, MD, died Friday, August 24, 2018 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, MD. Born on November 26, 1925 at Mt. Savage, MD, she was a daughter of the late Elmer W. and Ethel B. (Witt) Crowe. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy E.  Iser on February 3, 2003; one daughter, Julie Ann Goldsworthy and her husband Terry; a son, James Leroy Iser and his wife Thelma; a brother, George C. Crowe and his wife Sally; a daughter-in-law, Judith Iser and a step granddaughter, Jackie Walters. Mrs. Iser was a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker. Known as the "Pizza Lady" of Dawson, MD, she was a member of the Dawson United Methodist Church  where she taught the Adult Sunday School class for many years. She also was a member and past president of the Dawson Senior Citizens and formerly served as a a den mother for the Cub Scouts. Surviving are her son, Jerry Wayne Iser of Cumberland, MD; four grandchildren, James Iser and girlfriend Gwen, Lonnie Iser, Dustin Iser and Richard Goldsworthy; four step grandsons, J.R. McCoy, Clifford McCoy, Mike McCoy and wife Karen and Donald Keller; a great-grandson, Matthew Goldsworthy; three step great-grandchildren, Amanda Turner, Bryon McCoy and Krista Crutcher and two step great-great grandchildren, Eric and Savannah Turner. Also surviving are two special friends, Phyllis Ward and Jean Parkey, numerous nieces and nephews and other close family and friends. Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the Dawson United Methodist Church on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike McGowan and Jason Ward officiating. Friends may also call at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Waxler Cemetery, Rawlings, MD. The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Dawson United Methodist Church, 22515 McMullen Highway, S.W. Rawlings, MD  21557.
