Celeste E. Casson
Celeste E. Casson CANANDAIGUA – Celeste E. Casson, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019. She is survived by three children, Edward Casson (Stephen May), Michael (Cheryl) Casson and Deborah Casson; grandson, Craig (Brittany) Casson; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 73 years, Edward Casson in February of this year; and infant granddaughter, Danielle. Celeste was a graduate of Haddonfield High School in New Jersey. She and Ed were married in Haddonfield and raised their family there, before moving to Canandaigua in 1960. Celeste retired from the motor vehicle department in Canandaigua in 1988 after many years there. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. Celeste enjoyed cooking, shopping and spending time with her family and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her generosity to others. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, 183 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Penn Yan.
