Caryll Klug
Caryll C. Klug Evansville, IN Caryll C. Klug, 92, of Evansville, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019, at Good Samaritan. Caryll was born June 15, 1926 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Alfred and Caroline (Brinkman) Klug. Caryll entered the Order of the Sisters of Notre Dame at the age of 14. She served the order for 28 years as a first and second grade teacher at several schools. She then worked for a group home for autistic children for the next 10 years. Caryll then entered the Poor Clare's Monastery for four years. She came to understand the fullness of the Gospels that salvation is in Christ alone through faith alone and not by works. With this understanding Caryll became an active member at Faith Bible Church. Caryll`s ministry to spread Gods word continued at the Christian Life Center, the Carriage House and most recently at the Good Samaritan nursing home. Caryll is survived by her sister, Lois Allinger; 12 nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends and family at Faith Bible Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Virginia Strieker; brothers, Alfred, Arnold and Paul Klug. Visitation will be from 9:00 am - 10:00 am Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Faith Bible Church, 5601 Oak Hill Road, Evansville, IN 47711. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Ernie Godshall and Associate Pastor Bryce Beale officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
