Edmundo "Cookie" R. Zuniga born in San Antonio, Texas on April 1, 1953 went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2021 at the age of 68. He is preceded in death by his parents Martin H. and Rosa Ofelia Zuniga. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jaime R. Zuniga and Eddie R. Zuniga. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years: Gloria Jean Zuniga; his beloved fur baby Cinnamon; grandchildren, Avelina Morales, Vanezia Joline Morales, Abel Francisco Morlaes, III; great-grandchild A'Valynn Rae; sister: Dalma Palacios and brother: Homer R. Zuniga. Cookie was a kind, loving and caring person who lived life to the fullest. He loved everyone and took care of everyone he was the person you could always count on. He was a hard worker when it came to doing anything he always gave it his all. He loved to eat and go to restaurants. He was a huge sports enthusiast and an avid golfer. Cookie was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 6pm-9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Sunset Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held the next day Friday, April 30, 2021 at 2pm at the funeral home with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
