Peterson, Betty J. (Brewer) Epperson October 2, 1929 - April 19, 2021 Betty J. (Brewer) Epperson Peterson, age 91, passed away peacefully at Jennie Edmundson Hospital April 19, 2021. She was born October 2, 1929 to Frederick and Darlene Brewer in Council Bluffs, IA. Betty graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1947. Betty worked for National Indemnity in Omaha. She was active with Insurance Women of Omaha and the International Insurance Women Betty enjoyed golf, puzzles, crossword and word search. Her pride and joy was her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Frederick "Jocko" Peterson; twin brothers; sister; nieces; nephews; great-nephew. Betty is survived by children, Terry (Lori) Epperson and Sharon Epperson; one brother; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a host of family and friends. No services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be announced later. The family will direct memorials.
