Mary J. Fichtel FORKS TOWNSHIP Mary J. Fichtel, 91, of Forks Township, PA, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at her home. Born September 14, 1929, in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Salvatrice (Spano) Padula. Her husband, Clifford E. Fichtel, died May 31, 1989. She graduated from Easton High School, Class of 1948. Mary retired in 1993 from the former Dixie Cup Company where she worked for 45 years. She enjoyed working in her garden and traveling. Mary was also a member of East Lawn Fire Company, Nazareth. Surviving are a son, Nicholas A. DeBias, Jr. and his wife Linda, of Washington Township, PA; two daughters, Diane L. Mullen and her husband Brian, and Karen A. Reeser and her husband Don, all of Forks Township; a brother, Frank Padula, of Palmer Township; a sister, Laura Gallo, of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren, Steven Fichtel and his wife Dusca, Nicholas DeBias and his wife Samantha, Jennifer McCance, and Natasha Neel and her husband Ryan and two great-grandsons. In addition to her husband, Clifford, she was predeceased by a son, Richard W. Fichtel, a grandson, Robert N. Fichtel, five brothers, Paul, Michael, Joseph, Samuel and James Padula and three sisters, Camerella Rinaldi, Josephine Pazics and Rose Crivellaro. Call Wednesday 10-11 a.m. in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough with social distancing and masks required followed by a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. in Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Road, Palmer Township.
