William Kantor
William Edward Kantor, born at home in Carnegie, PA on July 18, 1935, the youngest of eleven children of Adam and Tatianna Kantor, died Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Bill attended Scott Township School. He was a natural athlete, beginning a life-long love for golf, lettering in soccer, basketball and football. Bill graduated from The University of Notre Dame in 1959 and from Case University in 1968. As a Social Worker, he began his career with Dauphin County Child Care prior to joining the VA for 30 years. He was an active member of the Lions Club for more than 30 years. Bill is survived by his wife of 53 years Ruth, daughter Rebecca and her husband Bruce Case and granddaughter Olivia. A private, small family funeral will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Christ the Savior Orthodox Church. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Oberlin.
