Michael L. Armstrong
Michael L. Armstrong, 68, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, at the Laurels of Coldwater in Coldwater, Mich. Michael was born March 18, 1952 in Wauseon to the late William and Myrtle (Leininger) Armstrong. After graduating from high school at Pettisville High School, he enrolled at the University of Toledo. Prior to retirement, he worked as a parts manager at Hal-mark in Angola, Ind., and appliance repairman for Hammontree's in Wauseon. Michael loved electronics and electronic flea markets. He also enjoyed hunting. He was a people person and always found enjoyment in spending time with family and friends, especially at his annual hog roast. Surviving Michael is LuAnn Armstrong; stepdaughter, Shelly (Guy) Banta; step-grandson, Ben Banta; brother, William Armstrong; brother; Jerold (Pat) Armstrong; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Patricia Armstrong. All services will be private, with burial at Tedrow Cemetery at a later date. Edgar-Grisier Funeral Homes is honored to serve the Armstrong family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
