Robert E. Laskowski
Laskowski, Robert E. Muskegon Mr. Robert Edward Laskowski, age 83, passed away at his home on Friday, January 1, 2021. He was born in Muskegon on July 1, 1937 to Robert and Edna (Heinicke) Laskowski and graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central High School. Bob was employed by Paragon Pattern and Manufacturing Company as a pattern maker prior to his retirement in 1999. He was a life-long member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a member of the Fruitport Eagles. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. On December 19, 1970, Bob married the former Arlene L. Mell in Muskegon and she survives him along with two brothers-in-law, Doug O'Neil and Allan (Karen) Mell; sister-in-law, Janet (Ed) Danner; nieces and nephews, Diane (Tom) Hill, Douglas "Chip" (Carla Rosenblum) O'Neil Jr., Debbie (Michael) Walker; Rachel (Mark) Tilmann, Tracey (Rick) Jensen, Marcus Holland, Kristi (Mike) Romanelli; and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Shirley O'Neil. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, January 29, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (150 East Summit Ave., Muskegon Heights 49444) with Fr. Douglas Braun presiding. Burial will be in Mona View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Muskegon Catholic High School Foundation. Due to Covid-19 and concerns with social distancing, the family will hold an additional Memorial Celebration in the summer.
