Joseph F. Rapali
Joseph F. Rapali, 90, of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, afternoon at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown. Born Nov. 14, 1930, in Kulpmont, Pa., he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Molnar) Rapali. He was the husband of Theresa R. (King) Rapali, the couple was married 65 years. Joseph was a graduate of Northeast High School, Philadelphia. He was employed as a draftsman at Ebinger Iron Works, Schuylkill Haven, until his retirement. Joseph was an Army veteran of the Korean War, achieving the rank of corporal. Joseph was the voice of "Yoska Baci" for over 25 years on WPAM radio, Pottsville. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Minersville. In addition to his wife, Joseph is survived by two sisters, Eleanor Bergan, Waynesboro, and Ramona Matalonas (wife of Gerald), Taylorsville; two daughters, Regina Rapali, Seltzer, and Josanne Devitt (wife of John), Lake Wynonah; a son, Joseph F. Rapali Jr., Minersville; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Donald J.
