In memory of
John A. Timm
John A. Timm, 76, a long-time resident of Moss Point, Mississippi, found his way home to our Heavenly Father on January 9, 2021. John came into this world on November 26, 1944, in Illinois. He served his country in the U.S. Army and continued his patriotism and service with the American Patriot Riders. After serving in the Army, he worked in retail holding multiple positions, including Radio Shack Store Manager. Later in life, John was an officer for the Jackson County Sheriff Reserves. He enjoyed an active social life as a past member of the Krewe of Niord, where he served as King Thor XLII at their annual ball. He was a member of the Pascagoula Shooting Club, where he enjoyed target practice, tournaments, and time with friends. John was an enthusiastic cruiser and never missed a chance to show off his classic Chevy Truck at Cruisin' the Coast. He loved vacationing to the Caribbean on cruises with his wife and other family members. His boisterous personality will be missed by all who loved and knew him. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley K. Tillman, his parents, Kenneth and Helen Timm, and his sister, The Magical Poof. He survived by his daughters, Catherine Spiller and Elizabeth (Robert) Anthony; grandchildren, Ray Spiller IV, Mekenzee Anthony, and Mayah Anthony; step-daughters, Buffie (Jason) Holden, Shelley (Rodger) Farabee, and Tracy Tillman; step-grandchildren, Timothy (Becca) Holden, Claire (Casey) Croy, Blake Farabee, and Brooke Farabee; step-great-grandchildren, TJ Holden, Truette Holden, MaryBeth Holden, and Hannah-Kay Holden; as well as his furry friends, Rebel and Gracie.
