Margaret M. (Peggy) Clements
Margaret M. (Peggy) Clements Mission Viejo - September 18, 1933-December 23, 2020 Margaret M. Clements, fondly known as "Peggy" passed away at the age of 87, at Sunrise of Mission Viejo, an assisted living facility. Peggy was born to Laurence and Emma Bennett on September 18, 1933. She had a sister Lois and a brother Alvin. She attended Mount Whitney High School in Visalia, CA and participated in many of the school activities. She was a Song Leader, Vice President of the Latin club (11th grade), Rally Club, Girls Athletics Association, Chairman of the Girls league (10th grade) and Publicity chairman (12th grade). After graduating in 1951, she went on to attend College of the Sequoia in Visalia. During that time, she worked at the Fox Theater where she met the man she would marry, Warren Keith Clements. They were married in Las Vegas on January 12, 1954. They were married 32 years, until the passing of Keith in June 1986. Peggy and Keith had three children; Brian, Bruce, and David. She was a stay at home mother, which included; cooking, canning, sewing, cleaning, and laundry. However, living on a ranch also included; irrigating, taking care of animals, and gardening. When her boys were old enough to take care of themselves, she went to work for Heiskell ACE Hardware in Tulare CA as a bookkeeper. She transferred to J.D. Heiskell & Co. Feed Mill, where she worked with their computerized bookkeeping system until her retirement. Peggy moved to Palm Desert, where she made new friends, spent time with them playing cards, shuffle-board, golf, and traveling. She loved receiving visits from her family, going to the living Desert, eating at nice restaurants, and finding fun things to do. She always had somewhere new to go, or something new to see. She loved going to casinos. Peggy was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents Laurence and Emma Bennett, husband Keith Clements and Sister Lois Winterberg. She is survived by her three sons; Brian Clements (wife Sarah), Visalia, CA, Bruce Clements (wife Denise), Lamar MO, and David Clements (wife Vicki), San Juan Capistrano, CA. Seven grandchildren; Brad, Doug, Josh, Brett and Blane Clements, Ashley Quirk and Megan McAdams Nine great-grandchildren, Brother Alvin Bennett and brother-in-law Harold Clements and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to Neptune Society of Orange County, 758 W. 19th St. Costa Mesa CA 92627. We will carry out Moms' final wishes. They are to have no memorial service or viewing, to be cremated and buried with Dad in his final resting place at Visalia District Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to one of the following charities, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or Molly's Movement.
