Robin Lindsey Nielson
Robin Lindsey Nielson Robin Nielson, of Bellevue, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2018, surrounded by her family, leaving behind her husband Merritt; children Todd, Peter, Sarah, Ross, Ryan, and spouses; 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A devoted, loving wife, mother and friend to many, she worked as a Registered Nurse for 25 years, including 23 years at Overlake Hospital, and led a diabetes support group for 18 years. She played the organ for her church all of her adult life, was an excellent cook, and an engaging conversationalist. Robin and her family were active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Robin was born on January 30, 1941 to Lavearl and Myrtle Lindsey in Toppenish, Washington, the fifth of six siblings. She grew up in Walla Walla, and graduated from WaHi in 1959. She and Merritt met at their church, and were married in 1959. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on January 12 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 15205 SE 28th Street, Bellevue, Wa.
