Yoshio Nagata, age 96, a long time resident of the Coachella Valley, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 in Indio. Mr. Nagata was born in Riverside, California on March 25, 1921, and was a farmer for over 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Chavez Nagata; sons: Jeffrey Nagata and Edmond Moreno and two grandchildren. Services will be held at the Pentecostal Church of Philadelphia, 84-542 Avenue 49, Coachella on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 10:00am with interment to follow at Coachella Valley Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to FitzHenry-Wiefels, Indio.
