SZALITA--Dr. Alberta B., the Polish born Jewish intellectual who became one of New York's most influential psychoanalytic teachers and theorists, died on Wednesday November 10, 2010. She was 100 years old. A survivor of the Holocaust, Dr. Szalita began her psychoanalytic work at Chestnut Lodge.
