Carmella A. Fisher PHILLIPSBURG, NJ Carmella A. Fisher, 84, of Phillipsburg, NJ, went home to the Lord on Feb. 4, 2019. Born on Jan. 17, 1935, in Phillipsburg, NJ, Carmella was the daughter of the late Gregory Fodero and Vincenza Murgida Fodero. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Fisher, in 2002. Carmella was a faithful lifelong member of Saint Philip & Saint James Roman Catholic Church and worked for the Phillipsburg Board of Education for 25 years as a teacher's aide. She absolutely loved baking, cooking, entertaining and traveling, but most especially she loved her family. Carmella is survived by her children, Deacon Robert W. Fisher II, of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Debra Mack and her husband, Brian, of Nazareth, PA; her grandsons, Brian Mack of Nazareth, PA, and Paul Mack and his wife Amanda, of Lower Macungie, PA; her great-granddaughter, Eliana; her sisters, Angela Bush of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Mariann Fisher of Forks Township, PA, and her nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Frank Fodero, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ. Viewing hours are scheduled for Friday, Feb. 8, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St, Phillipsburg, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial is then to be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, at St. Philip and St. James Church, 430 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ.
