BRUCE A. BERGERON February 15, 1932 ~ February 9, 2011 Bruce Bergeron of Vancouver, WA, passed away Feb. 9, 2011. He was born in Chippewa Falls, WI and moved to Vancouver at an early age. Bruce served in the Korean War for eighteen months at which time he returned to Vancouver and started working at Boise Cascade Paper Mill on Nov. 2, 1954 remaining there until he retired in 1996. He enjoyed trips to Victoria, Canada, all Oregon Beaches, watching sports and going to Reno, but most of all he loved his family. Bruce is survived by his wife, Mary Lou, of 57 years; daughter, Nancy Ferris of Vancouver; sons, Bill Bergeron of Camas and Steve Bergeron of Warrenton, OR; grandchildren, Joe, Jennifer and Megan; and one great-grandson, Alexzander; a brother, Roy of Vancouver; and sisters, Rita Voermans of Wausau, WI; Marcella Kennedy of Portland, OR and Maxine Barber of McMinnville, OR.
