Betty Jo Richburg
Betty Joe Richburg, age 80, (39 & holding) of Navarre, Florida passed away peacefully Thursday, September 26, 2019. Betty was born on February 10, 1939 in Sylacauga, Alabama to Geneva Reeves & Woodrow Fuller. After moving to the Florida panhandle, she spent 32 years at Choctawhatchee High School where she started in the lunch room for a few years but finished the rest as a custodian. Her favorite part was working the ticket gate at Friday night home football games and she loved listening to the band. Other than the Choctawhatchee Indians, she loved being a Meme to all of her Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. Betty is survived by her son, Frankie; daughter, Tonia (Michael); Grandchildren, Ashley (Don), Bubba, Amanda, Brittany; her beloved great grandchildren, Shaylee, Carmen, Gracelynn, Jesyka, and siblings Nolan, Jerry and Carol. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donald and Neil; sister, Linda and daughter-in-law Dorothy. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 161 Racetrack Road NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:00 P.M.
