Bernice Eva Keller EASTON Bernice Eva Keller, 74, of Easton, PA, formerly of Penuelas, Puerto Rico, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born March 18, 1943, in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Laralla (Eck) Keller. Bernice taught English as a Second Language while living in Puerto Rico. She earned a degree in education from Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in Ponce. Bernice loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her grandpups, Jemi Lefroy, Jasper, Jasmine and Josette. She was an avid reader and world traveler. She enjoyed going to the movies, making arts and crafts and sewing clothing and doll clothes. Surviving are her children, Maureen and Calvin Rivera, and a sister, Patricia Singh, all of Easton; three grandchildren, Alexandria Tran, Adrianna and Arabella Rivera; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two children, Robert Rivera and Jenny Tran, and two siblings, Leonard Reifinger and Nancy Oliver. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in St. John's Lutheran Church, 330 Ferry St., Easton. The Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Easton, is in charge of arrangements.
