Barbara Marie (Wahl) Madonna
Barbara Marie (Wahl) Madonna Palm Desert - Barbara died January 22nd in Palm Desert, California at the age of 92. She was happily married to Nick Madonna for 70 years. After marrying in Seattle, they moved to Alaska for several years, then to Bellevue, Washington to raise their family. In recent years, they spent winters in Palm Desert, enjoying the warm weather and making new friends. Barbara is survived by her husband, Nick, son Jim (Shannon) and daughter Marda (Brett), along with five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by their oldest son, Stephen John. Barbara was a loving, compassionate and generous wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was known for her sense of humor, spirit of adventure and devotion to her family and friends. Barbara performed many acts of kindness for others, but never wanted recognition for her generosity. She was an inspiration and amazing role model to all who knew her and will always live on in our hearts. A Memorial Mass is scheduled for Tuesday February 5, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Palm Desert, California. Reception Following.
