Barbara J. (Perry) Hoyle
GALESBURG - Barbara J. (Perry) Hoyle left us April 17, 2019 to receive her wings. She was born June 1, 1935 to Lawerence and Lenora (Longcor) Perry. She married Dale L. Hoyle on April 14, 1953. He passed away March 31, 2004, they had four children. Mom was an avid shooter and pitch player. She loved animals, painting rocks, and gardening. Mom was a stay at home mother who was the backbone of raising our family. Her beautiful smile would brighten anyone's day. She prepared countless Sunday dinners for family gatherings at the farm. Her cinnamon rolls were the gooiest and the best. Mom's love and concern for her family was her number one priority. Throughout her life she never hesitated to help others to ensure their lives were as struggle free as possible. Mom is survived by her children, Vickie (Gene) Vollbracht of Delong, Dale (Debbie) Hoyle of Bushnell, Terry (Laura) Hoyle of Knoxville, Amy (Otis) Hill of Gilson; sister, Patty Long; brother, Jerry Perry of Mt. Sterling; brother, Dennis Perry of Bushnell; 10 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Mom was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry Perry; and sister, Shirley (Shug) Parrick. Celebration of Life for Barbara J. Hoyle will be from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. May 11, 2019, at Lake Storey Shelter #3 in Galesburg. Food will be served, any dish is welcome. Burial of ashes will follow at 5 p.m. at Bushnell Cemetery.
