MILLERSBURG- Anna L.M. Shiffer, age 78, of Millersburg passed away on Tuesday Sept. 11, 2018 at Premier at Susquehanna in Millersburg. She was born on Feb. 7, 1940 in Upper Paxton Twp., a daughter of the late George and Margaret Amig Stoneroad. Anna was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Rife. She was a former Sunday school teacher, Bible school coordinator, Altar Guild coordinator and a member and past secretary and treasurer of the Cheerful Workers. She coordinated pie sales, soup sales, banquets, luncheons and other special events. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Larry Shiffer, daughters Debbie Warshefski (Keith) of Millersburg, Kathy Shoop (Jim) of Halifax, grandchildren Megan McCreary (Ben), Kayla Warshefski (fiance James), Eli Shoop and Ike Shoop and great grandchildren Ireland and Maverick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Roscoe Seiler, Betty Novinger, Charles Stoneroad, Ruth Arthur and Willard Stoneroad. There will a viewing on Friday Sept. 14 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm and on Saturday Sept. 15 from 10 to 11 am at Zion Lutheran Church 143 Rife Road Millersburg, PA. Services will begin at 11 am on Saturday at the church with Rev. Godfred Effisah officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Zion Lutheran Church PO Box 415 Millersburg, PA 17061. Arrangements by Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg.
