Ann Wilson Cedar Hill - Ann G. Wilson, passed away peacefully at her home May 7, 2019, under the care of Hospice and her care givers. She was born November 24,1924 in Cedar Hill, TN to the late Gertrude Odell Fyke and Thomas Henry Gardner. She was a Christian with a kind and gentle spirit and was a lifelong pianist and organist of the Cedar Hill United Methodist Church and Porters Chapel United Methodists Church. She was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Boughton Wilson of 52 years in 2004. She is survived by her first cousins Ginny & Bob Berry, Ray Gordon Fyke, nieces Jane Wilson Harper, Beth Wilson Stratton and Marcia Wilson Lawrence, and several cousins. She and Harry lived and worked in Owensboro, Ky for over 40 years. Ann retired from Texas Gas in 1992 and moved back to her childhood home in Cedar Hill, TN in 2007. Services will be held Monday May 13th at the Cedar Hill United Methodist Church in Cedar Hill, with Joan Hubbard, Andrew Jones, and Eric Limbo officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.until the time of service Monday. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Springfield, Tennessee. Austin & Bell are in charge of the arrangements. The relatives request that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Nashville Rescue Mission and your favorite charity. A very special thank you to hospice services, her excellent private care providers, family, neighbors, and friends. You all gave her such special care and love.
