Andrew D. Hall, 55, passed away May 5th in Rochester, NY. He is survived by his parents, Carolyn and David Hall of Fayetteville, NY and Bonita Springs, FL; sister, Wendy Frye; brother-in-law, Larry; niece, Lisa and nephew, Scott Frye of Liverpool, NY. Andy retired from the Syracuse Fire Department. He was also a deputy NYS Fire Marshall-Fire Protection Specialist. Andy has taken numerous courses in Advanced Security, Haz/Mat Environmental and Medical Studies. He was an accredited Emergency Medical Technician. He received numerous service awards and merits for his extensive years of volunteer work with Fire Fighters Associations. He was a member of New York State Fire Fighters Association, New York State Fraternal Order of Police, National Registry for Emergency Medical Technicians and International Association of Arson Investigators. He loved the Adirondack Mountains and enjoyed fishing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Liverpool Volunteer Fire Department, 1110 Oswego St., Liverpool, NY 13088 or the North Syracuse Fire Department, 109 Chestnut St., N. Syracuse, NY 13212. Visitation will take place on Friday, May 18, 6-8 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. Burial will be private.
