Bryan, Jr. Oct. 27, 1941 - Jan. 18, 2017 BATAM, INDONESIA Alvin Roscoe Bryan, Jr. (Sonny or Ross to family and friends) passed from this life Jan. 18, 2017. Ross was born Oct. 27, 1941, in Hobart, OK. Ross was raised in Mustang, OK, graduating from Capitol Hill H.S. Ross was an IBEW electrician in Oklahoma City for many years. He also worked construction in Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. In between his overseas assignments, he was a partner in an OKC cash register company. Ross was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin & Juanita Bryan; and one daughter, Nancy Gay Bryan. Ross is survived by his wife, Amelia Rosa Bryan, of Batam, Indonesia; children, Scott & Susan Bryan, of Round Rock, TX; and Becky & Jayson VanHorn, Thornton, CO; siblings, Mary Barnes, of Fallbrook, CA; and John & Nancy Bryan, of Lake Kiowa, TX; and grandchildren, Calvin, Jenna, Caroline, Alec, and Andrew. He also leaves behind many friends located around the globe. Ross enjoyed his pets, reading, crossword puzzles, games, and spending time outdoors on his back porch. He and his wit will be missed by many.
