In memory of
Alma Rose Schultz
Alma Rose Schultz Alma Rose Shultz (Wehrle), 86, joined her beloved husband, Richard, and son Rick, peacefully the morning of September 10, 2018 under the dedicated Hospice team at Ebeid Hospice surrounded by her family who loved her very much. Alma Rose Wehrle was born December 31, 1931 to Edward and Clara Werhle. Alma Rose and her sisters, Helen Mae Werhle were raised in Lutheran Children's Home. Alma met the love of her life, Richard Schultz in 1952. They were married in 1953 and spend the next 65 years being devoted to one another, their children, and their faith. Alma Rose is survived by her daughter, Sheryl, of Orlando, FL, her daughter-in-law and family, Robin Spangler, her two sisters, Helen Mae Wehrle of Kalkaska, MI and Mary Ann Tellez of Sarasota, FL, two grandchildren, Ruben Schultz and Regina McCree, and many great-grandchildren that she adored including Alaina, of Ottawa Lakes, MI, and Isaac, Sailor, Judah, and Cedar Schultz of Yellow Springs, OH. Leading a life of service, Alma was deemed a "soul warrior" by the congregation of Echo Meadows Church of Christ, where she and Richard were active members for many years. Alma Rose gave unselfishly of herself to the church, its members and missionaries, providing guidance to countless individuals in a most loving and faith based manner. She was a joy to be around and touched us all in a very special way. Alma Rose taught us all how to be better people by her example. The family will receive friends of Alma Rose today, Tuesday, September 11, 2018 between 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 W. Sylvania Ave. in Toledo where funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday and burial will immediately follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. The family asks you to consider a donation to Echo Meadows Church of Christ in her honor, in lieu of flowers.
