Alice A. Sullivan
Niantic - Alice A. Sullivan, of Niantic, passed away suddenly on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018, at home. Alice was born in Springfield, Mass., to Peter and Anna Kelly. She worked for the Springfield School Department for many years before moving to Old Lyme, where she was a corporate secretary in the banking industry. Alice's greatest love, besides her children, was the beach. Alice is survived by her son Daniel Sullivan, and daughter Jan Carpenteri, both of Old Lyme; grandson Patrick Sullivan of Tampa, Fla.; sisters Elinor Bastien of Irvine, Calif., and Irene Hardy of Plymouth, Mass.; nieces Marybeth Heins of Austin, Texas, and Anne Porter of Irvine, Calif.; nephews Jimmy and Ron Bastien, and Michael Rankin of Florida. Alice is predeceased by her son Robert Sullivan; granddaughter Kelly Carpenteri; and nephew Michael Bastien. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
