In memory of
Alberto Bozzo CLINTON - Our friend, Alberto Bozzo, passed away on August 20, 2018, after a brief illness. Although struggling with illness for the past two years, with the help and care of his best friend, Debbie, he was able to maintain his lifestyle and attend his beloved AA meetings. Alberto leaves a legacy of help and of friendship for many of his fellow members as they began their efforts toward recovery. AA was a lifesaver for Alberto and he was adamant that others would have the same opportunity. He was so very proud of his achievement this past month celebrating forty years of sobriety. Alberto leaves to mourn him, many friends both in and out of the rooms. He is survived by his friend of thirty years, Debbie; two sons and their families; his step-son, Seth, who sat by his side until the end; and Alice and Ralph, his much loved canine companions. Alberto's friends appreciate the kindness and care shown to Alberto by his doctor of many years, Dr. George Kozminski, and his nurse, Carole Slawson. As Alberto was a staunch Leonard Cohen fan, we feel it fitting to remember him with these lyrics: "Ring the bell, that still can ring. Forget your perfect offering. There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in." Rest in peace, Alberto.
