Albert J. (Al) Alletzhauser III
ALLETZHAUSER, ALBERT J. "AL" III There will be a Celebration of Life for Albert Joseph Alletzhauser III on Thursday, May 19th at 5:30 PM at the North Madison Congregational Church. Albert died suddenly at the age of 51 while in Thailand. Al was raised in Madison, Connecticut and graduated from Colgate University. From his home in South Africa, he traveled the world as an investor, author and entrepreneur. His career has included investment management and start-up businesses, ranging from publishing to nutriceuticals to resort development, in Hong Kong, Japan, London, South Africa, Argentina and Thailand. Al was an avid reader, an ardent polo player and a seeker of new ideas and adventures. He is survived and greatly missed by his wife, Anne Cabot Alletzhauser, and three children, Arianna, Max, and Chloe. Al is also survived by his father, Albert, and siblings Kurt, Amy, Eric and Judith. He was predeceased by his mother, Sydney Louise (Best) Alletzhauser. Burial arrangements will take place at a later date.
