McMILLAN, Isobel Ruth (nee Dryden). Peacefully, in the loving arms of daughter at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the age of eighty-two. Beloved wife of William "Reg" for 59 years. Cherished mother of Sharon and her husband Larry Schnurr of Burlington. Adored special grandmother of Kevin and Jodie Schnurr, Jeffrey and Susan Schnurr and Laura and David McLean. Dearest great-grandmother of Lisa, Amie, Steven, Carly, Riley, and Brydon Schnurr and Cameron, Spencer and Owen McLean. Much loved sister of Helen Fleming, Edith DeLamatter, Eloise Hayward, Hugh Dryden and Wilma Gresty and sister-in-law of Norm Oliver. Dear aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Ellen Dryden and her sisters Lorraine Oliver and Winnifred Armstrong. Isobel was born and raised in Toronto and moved to Montreal in 1954. She will be fondly remembered by many friends she made over her life and those she met while working at Gardenview School in St. Laurent. Many caring relatives and friends will especially remember her sense of humour, thoughtfulness, love of children and being forever young at heart. Family will receive friends at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, May 2, 2007 from 12:30 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 1:30p.m. Private interment to follow at a later date. If desired, expressions of sympathy to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
