In memory of
Wayne Edmond Brian MacDonald June 10, 1951 – October 11, 2016 Wayne MacDonald, late of Saskatoon, SK, passed away on October 11, 2016 in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 65 years. Wayne was born in Fort Chipewyan, Alberta where he lived until age four. He then moved to Uranium City, SK where he completed his schooling and worked in the area of Maintenance there. As well, he worked as a Timberman at Eldorado Mines. In his late 30s, Wayne returned to school to become a Plumber, and furthered his education again in his late 40s when he became a Pipefitter, spending most of his adult career working in the northern mines. Wayne enjoyed playing hockey with the Uranium City Old Timers hockey league. Wayne will be lovingly remembered by: his children: Shawna MacDonald and Sheldon MacDonald; his partner: Carol Mintuk; his siblings: Rosemarie Zoerb, Marcy Desbiens, Dawn Desbiens, Vincent Desbiens, Ella-Rae Trelenberg and Ruth Larocque; his uncles: Fred McDonald and Sonny (Helen) McDonald; as well as his grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Wayne was predeceased by: his parents: Helene (nee Desbiens) MacDonald and Edmond Ladoucer; his siblings: Jordana Desbiens and Allison "Scooter" Desbiens; his grandparents: Harriette (nee Mercredi) McDonald and Germain McDonald; his aunts: Rita MacDonald and Anita Sharpe; his uncles: Theodore "Ted" MacDonald and Danny MacDonald; and his nephew: Lee- Arron Zoerb. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Chapel, 130 - 9 th St E, Prince Albert, SK, with Pastor Claude Tucker officiating.
