In memory of
It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to our beloved mother and grandmother, Lyne England, who entered into eternal peace at home, attended by her loving family. Sadly she was predeceased recently by the love of her life, Joe England, Capt. USMC Ret. She leaves behind her daughter Kelly, sons Ernest, Paul, Steven and grandchildren Matthew, Laura, Aliya and Myrissa. Lyne devoted her life to the service of others through nursing, teaching, and through her affiliations with organizations such as the Gordon Head Lions, The Greater Victoria Seniors OAPO Br. 191, Advocates for Care Reform, BC Centre for Elder Advocacy & Support, Saanich Peninsula Health Assn., Seniors Entitlement Service, and the Vancouver Island Assoc. of Family Councils. A celebration of her life will be held at the Da Vinci Centre, 195 Bay Street, Victoria, on Saturday January 14th at 1 PM. We respectfully ask that you dress to celebrate her life, not to mourn her passing. Lyne envisioned; "A big luncheon, with lots of bling". Our family would like to recognize the extraordinary, professional, and compassionate care provided by Dr. D. Morton and staff of Brentwood Family Medical Centre, Dr. N. MacPherson, Dr. Tanya Berrang, Dr. Elaine Wai, Lianne Houston and the home and community care team, The palliative response team, and N. Donaldson, LPN of Open Hearts Adult Care.
