Keith Hines Kirchner Born February 23, 1934, called home to our Heavenly Father on October 13, 2016. Keith was born in Indian Head, SK and in his younger years served in the R.C.A.F. and had the honor of being chosen to attend as a member of The Canadian Coronation Contingent for Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. He returned to Indian Head where he worked at the experimental farm. For most of his life, Keith worked as a postmaster for Canada Post where he moved between several communities. Later, Keith moved to Regina and worked in maintenance at Sears after working as a commissionaire for a period of time. In his later years, Keith resided in Pioneer Village Care Home where he enjoyed playing bingo and cards, reading and attending pub night. He especially enjoyed visits from family, friends and staff. Keith's jokes and smile brought many a laugh to residents and staff and will be greatly missed. Keith was predeceased by his parents, John and Lucy Kirchner, and leaves to mourn his sister, Lorraine Brooks; his wife, June; and his children, Garfield (Joanne), Les (Kathy), and Lona (Brian); as well as many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. There will be a Memorial Service at Pioneer Village Chapel, located at 430 Pioneer Drive, Regina, SK on Friday, October 21 at 10:00 a.m. Tea will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Saskatchewan Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Cameron and the Pioneer Village staff on 4E for their care over the years and the exceptional end-of-life care they gave to Keith. "My Sunrise and Sunset, Dad"
