John worked at Eaton's for 33 years before retiring in 1993. Dad and Mom enjoyed their retirement years camping, with Deception Pass being a favorite spot to camp. They also enjoyed travelling on a few cruises and spending time with their friends and family. They loved their grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spending time with them, both in BC and Alberta. We want to thank the doctors and nurses for their care and kindness to Dad while he spent time in the hospital and the Cedarhill Convalescent Center in Langley from June to September this year. Dad will be greatly missed and leaves a hole in our lives, but we hold onto the promise of John 11:25 'Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live..."'
