Harold "Keith" Campbell, 96, of Quesnel, British Columbia, passed away in his sleep early in the morning of Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Dunrovin Park Lodge. Keith was born November 18, 1920 to Harold Baldwin "Murphy" Campbell and Florence Emily Campbell née Nahu in New Westminster, BC. On June 27, 1947 he married Vivienne "Enid" Dudley in Vancouver. Keith was a motorcyclist, carpenter, talented artist, and pilot. He was actively involved in Quesnel Search & Rescue and Civil Defence, the Flying Club, the Cariboo Real Estate Board, Toastmasters, and square dancing. In Keith's earlier years, he was active in wrestling and weightlifting, winning the BC amateur Weightlifting Championship in his weight class for 1940. Keith was known for his adventurous spirit and charming personality until the end of his life and will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife Enid, his sister Doris Hart (Atchison) née Campbell of North Vancouver, brother-in-law Leonard Carroll Dudley of North Vancouver and sister-in-law Eunice Gryschuk of Kamloops; his children Dana Ballantyne (Wayne), Dawn McDonald (Allan), and Eric Campbell (Pam); his 12 grandchildren: Loni, Jimmy, and Dave Baldwin, Jesse and Joel Ballantyne, Marisa Nightingale (John), Alex McDonald (Jaime Laidlaw), Elena McDonald (Emmanuel Potvin), Frances McDonald, Alissa King, Lauren and Jackson Campbell, Riley King (Karissa), Janelle and Callie Schut, and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Baldwin, niece Kathy Atchison, and brother-in-law Steve Gryschuk. A Memorial Service will be held at St. John the Divine Anglican Church on Sunday April 23 at 2:00pm. A reception will be held in the hall following the ceremony.
