In memory of
COLE HARVEY WEBSTER
COLE HARVEY WEBSTER It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Cole Harvey Webster (64), who died on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at his home in Toronto. Youngest son of Alan and Margaret (née Harris) Webster, Cole is survived by his two sons Liam and Colin (Christina Houghton) and their mother Nancy Newman (John Milne), as well as by his brother Ross (Cheryl Carr) and nephew Alex. Cole was a founding member of the Plastic People's Philharmonic Junk Band and remained passionate about music his entire life. He knew how to fix all things and radiated kindness beyond measure. He cared for people. He played the washboard with thimbles. He was a good man. Cole spent most of his life working as an expert in landscaping and home repairs, with a multitude of loyal (and loving) clients. When not at work, he was otherwise busy doing whatever needed to be done - for his family, his friends, his colleagues - but all too rarely for himself. Cole's family will be remembering him this Thursday, October 20th in two parts: a celebration of life at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall (2:30-5:30 p.m., 1577 Kingston Rd., Scarborough), followed by a memorial service and reception at the Berkeley Fieldhouse (6:30-9:00 p.m., 311 Queen St. E., Toronto). All are welcome at either or both. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Foundation http://www.supportcamh.ca/
