In memory of
Christopher Stephen "Chris" KEHOE
KEHOE, Christopher (Chris) Stephen April 23, 1957 - April 7, 2017 After a fiercely determined but short battle with cancer, Chris passed away suddenly on April 7, 2017 at Richmond Hospital with Marie by his side. Chris was our hero; he is so loved and will be greatly missed by Marie (Janzen), his mother Kathleen, sisters Karen and Maureen, brother-in-law Don (Carissa), nephew Kaden, and niece Sophia, many wonderful life-time, long-time, and new friends as well as folks whose lives he touched only briefly. A life-long Richmond resident, Chris' passion and career centred on the automotive service industry. From apprentice to journeyman to manufacturer's representative to retail management, he lived and loved every path his life's journey took him on. In his spare time Chris always enjoyed yard and garden work; he spent the past several years working his hobby with a professional landscape team; enjoying the outdoors and physical work. Chris loved the sunshine and with Marie, was able to travel to many interesting (and warm) places around the world. Chris will be remembered for his calm, accepting and welcoming persona, his strength of character and integrity; he was a loyal, kind and generous friend to many. His garage door was always open to welcome his friends to his "clubhouse in the 'hood". Chris' family would like to thank all of the wonderful health professionals at the BC Cancer Clinic that were part of his recent care and treatment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation. A Celebration of Chris' life will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017 between 11:30am and 3:30pm at Steveston Seafood House, 3951 Moncton St, Richmond. You are encouraged to share your memories of Chris at email: firstname.lastname@example.org At the end of life, what really matters is not what we bought but what we built; not what we got but what we shared; not competence but our character; and not our success but our significance. Live a life that matters. Live a life of Love. ~unknown Richmond Funeral Home Reception and Cremation Centre 604-273-3748
