BRENNAND, Cedric Thomas (Ted) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cedric Thomas (Ted) Brennand on February 13, 2017, three days short of his 99th Birthday. Born in Coaticook, Quebec on February 16, 1918. He is the son of the late John and Gertrude Brennand of Coaticook. He was predeceased by his dear wife Edna Audrey Brennand (nee Williamson, 1996) and sister Bernice Elizabeth Rorison (1997). He is survived by his son Eric (Margaret Ann) and daughter Dawn (Phillip). Four grandchildren, Daniel (Angie), Cindy, Michael (Melinda), Gregory (Angela) and seven great- grandchildren. He is also survived by his loving friend, Ardith Powell. Ted was a member of the Rideau Park United Church. He was a long-time member of the RA Curling Club, a keen bowler of the Ottawa Tennis and Lawn Bowling Club and also the Elmdale Lawn Bowling Club. He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity to those around him and his wisdom and sound advice will be cherished forever by his family. A tremendous thank you to the Oakpark Retirement Community team who took such loving care of our Dad in his final years. Cremation has taken place and a private cemetery service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) would be much appreciated.
