Carmen STODDART
STODDART, Carmen Beloved wife of Ken Stoddart, retired operator 1521 with O.C. Tanspo. Carmen was born in Qrendi, Malta and had a strong devotion to St. Joseph. She spent her early adult years with the Maltese Sisters of St. Francis in Sicily and Rome. In 1965 she came to Winnipeg, Manitoba where she worked at the Winnipeg Children's Hospital until 1979. We got married at St. Anthony's Church in Ottawa in 1980. We would like to thank all the staff at the Ottawa General Hospital, especially Dr. Patrick Lefaivre and Dr. Michael Sabloff. I am especially grateful to the ever patient nurses at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, especially Maxime. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, October 17, 2016 in St. Augustine's Church, 1060 Baseline Road, Ottawa at 10 a.m. Guests will be greeted from 9:15 a.m. to 9:55 a.m. Light refreshments to follow Mass in the church hall. Please refrain from sending flowers and plants. Donations to the Migraine Association of Canada would be appreciated.
