Mom was born in Sheho, SK and later moved to Saskatoon where she married Joe (Gid). She moved to Calgary, AB in 2013 to begin another journey. She will be missed by many. A day did not go by in her home at Walden Agecare in Calgary that we were not stopped in the hallway "I know Ann, it's that smile". She will always be remembered for the love of her family. Respect of friends that had no problem calling her "Mom" or "Baba". Known also for her love for cooking, music, dancing, wisdom, camping, mushroom picking, gardening, fishing for sharks, great control of a broom, bingo and large parties with lots of food. She touched a lot of hearts that crossed her path. The family wants to give a special thanks to Walden Heights Agecare in Calgary for the caregiving that mom received along her journey. A very special hug and thanks to Tracy Good Modeste for the care, love and support of mom (and us) from the very beginning of her journey in Calgary. You are one in a million, family, you are love, Helen Borsos (Steve). Mom's best friend for many years through the good and the bad you were there especially in her last years in Saskatoon.
