In memory of
Alan Lucyshyn November 14, 1962 – October 13, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Al Lucyshyn, 53 years, at Royal University Hospital. Al is survived by his wife Nadine, daughter Tara, son Tate (Destiney), brother Dwayne, sister Cheryl Fawcett, brother Brent (Wendy) and their families. He was predeceased by his father Jack, mother Margaret, brother-in-law Craig Fawcett, grandparents, and numerous uncles and aunts. Al was born November 14, 1962 and spent most of his life in Saskatoon. He attended Holy Cross High School and was a member of the Crusader football team. Al spent many summers at the family fishing camp at East Trout Lake where he became an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed many hours out on the lake. Watching sports was a passion and cheering on the Blue Jays, Maple Leafs and Riders was a Lucyshyn family rite of passage. Al loved a spirited debate and was happy to entertain discussions on any topic of interest. He was a natural handyman, and never tired of finding odd projects around the house as well as tinkering with the vehicles. He was very proud of his children and their accomplishments. A Funeral Service will be held at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 - 3rd Avenue North, on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Most Rev. Bishop Bryan Bayda officiating.
