In memory of
Richard Bevan "Bev" HOWARD
Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, Bev Howard at 90 years of age. Bev will be greatly missed by his family; Jan, Judy, Cathy, Jo, Luke, Abigail, Jaime, Jake, Joe, Barb, Paul, Anja, and Josh. Predeceased by his first wife Pat, daughter Sue, and eight older siblings. Bev recently said that he had his family, what else did he need. He was a husband, a father, a grandfather, a high school teacher (Go West!), a Grand Life Master at bridge, an athlete (golf, curling, football, softball), a coach and a teller of many funny and fewer not so funny jokes. He will be remembered by all those whose life he impacted. Please share a story or smoke a cigar on his behalf. Bev's family would like to thank the NHH team on floor 2B of the Medical Surgical Unit including nurses Katelyn, Kyleah, and Lisa as well as Drs. Mulé and Knackstedt with a special shout out to nurse Pamela who guided and supported the family through his final hours. There will be a cremation with private family arrangements. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation. Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com .
