In memory of
Lillian Margaret (Stuart) Godfrey
It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our mom, Lillian Margaret Godfrey (Stuart), Born In High River Alberta, Dec 22, 1940, Passed away peacefully in her sleep at Northcott Care Centre in Ponoka, where she resided for several the years. Lillian leaves behind her sons, Stuart Godfrey, Walton Godfrey, her daughter Cheryl Urlacher and her special companion Ron Seminowich, along with five grandsons, one granddaughter, two great-granddaughters and two great grandsons. Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Calvin Godfrey in 1976, father, William (Bill) Stuart in 1984 and mother Helen Stuart in 1991. Mom always enjoyed camping and traveling through Alberta and BC, a lot of which she had done as a child with her mom and Dad. She lived in various towns throughout Alberta and always found new friends and enjoyed meeting people. Mom will always be remembered as the person you could go to for the family history and always took the time for family and friends. She was known by all of the other kids growing up in Black Diamond and Turner Valley as Mom and they knew there was always a place for them at our house. We will all miss her spirit and comforting words. She will live on in our memories forever. Donations in her memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation. There will be a Graveside Service followed by a Celebration of Life in the spring of 2017. Location and date will be announced at a later time.
